Kither Biotech is developing novel inhaled therapies designed to modulate cell signal transduction for the treatment of respiratory diseases with high unmet medical need.

Its lead candidate, KIT2014, is an inhaled cell-permeable peptide engineered to modulate intracellular cAMP signalling through balanced PDE3/4 inhibition and targeted disruption of the PI3Kγ complex. Following a Phase 1 trial in healthy volunteers, the programme is advancing into Phase 2 clinical evaluation in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), with additional development potential in conditions such as non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis (NCFBE), cystic fibrosis (CF), and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).

Kither is developing its pipeline — including KITCL27, a small-molecule PI3K inhibitor — to deliver direct-to-lung therapies that combine bronchodilator, anti-inflammatory, and mucociliary clearance actions to restore pulmonary function and slow disease progression.
